CNC machined from aluminum and anodized in a matte black coating. A weight of 317g and dimensions of 142x56x74mm place it in the mid-sized class of devices on the market. The sealed construction makes it water, dust, and fog-resistant as well as shockproof.
The 30x23mm lens glass is covered in anti-scratch and reflection multi-coating.
A single 1 MOA-sized dot with a 68 MOA ring with a 1/2 MOA adjustment value is displayed via an integrated laser emitter with twenty brightness levels and ten for NV mode. This combination forms the aiming reticle with a predicted shotgun spread pattern. With no parallax and unlimited eye relief, 558.A65 guarantees quick and accurate target acquisition in all weather and light over longer distances.
The power is provided by two AA batteries in a lever-secured housing, giving it a running time of 2500 hours at a medium brightness setting.
Picatinny Interface with QD mount provides solid and stable zero retention in the harshest conditions. Side-mounted rubberized switches allow easy operation with attached magnifiers.
